German PCB Market Down 14% in October 2008

Germany’s printed circuit board market posted a 14% year-on-year decline for the month of October 2008, according to the Association of PCB Manufacturers (VdL) and the German Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (ZVEI). For the first 10 months of 2008, cumulative revenues are slightly down by 1% compared to the same period in the previous year.

Incoming orders, nevertheless, are particularly high in October. Likewise, cumulative results for the first nine 10 months of 2008 are almost the same level as the previous year. Book-to-bill ratio is also on the upside, valued at 1.29.German PCB Market Down 14% in October 2008
