German PCB Market Shows Betterment in June
Revenues for the German PCB market shows improvement in June, growing 10% compared to the previous month, according to the German Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (ZVEI) and VdL. Compared to year-ago levels, the value is just above one third, but industry observers attribute this to current global economic conditions.
The incoming orders are unusually low, reaching only half of the ten-year average value. Compared to the same period last year, the decrease was more than 60%. Despite this, the majority of the manufacturers say that they have already experienced a slight increase in incoming orders.
Meanwhile, the book-to-bill ratio was at 0.60-the lowest ever value since the introduction of this metric.
